His Excellency Ahmed Mohammed Al-Khatri has assumed the position of Ras Al Khaimah Courts Department President since 2004 and holds membership of the Judiciary Council in the Emirate and has professional career extending for more than 31 years in the judicial and legal field. He started his career as Sharia judge in Ras Al Khaimah Courts in 1994, where he considered and adjudicated various civil, penal and personal status lawsuits at First Instance and Appeal Courts. In 2002, he was appointed as Judicial Inspection Director.

H.E. Chancellor/Mohamed Talaat Abouelmakarem Abouzeid joined Ras Al Khaimah Courts in April 2023 as a judge therein and was assigned the position of Acting Cassation Court President. He has more than twenty-seven years of judicial experience and impressive service record in judicial field in Arab Republic of Egypt, where he started his career as Prosecutor for eight years from 1998 to 2006, then assumed the position of Court President in Damietta Court of First Instance from 2006 to 2010. He was then chosen to work as Head of Prosecution in Public Prosecution with Egyptian Court of Cassation and was promoted to the level of Lead Attorney General from 2010 to 2019. In the last year, the General Assembly of Cassation Court selected him to work as a judge therein and he was promoted to become Egyptian Cassation Court Vice President in 2021. Chancellor/ Mohamed Talaat Abouelmakarem Abouzeid holds Bachelor of Law and Police Science Degree from Police Academy in Arab Republic of Egypt in 1997 and Master of Legal International Trade Transactions and Logistics Degree from Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in 2015.

His Excellency has served as the Chief Justice of the Ras Al Khaimah Courts Department since 2004. He is a distinguished member of the Judicial Council of the Emirate and brings with him over three decades of expertise in the legal and judicial fields. Counselor Al Khateri began his judicial career in 1994 as a Sharia Judge at the Ras Al Khaimah Courts, where he presided over a wide spectrum of cases, including civil, criminal, and personal status matters, across both the Courts of First Instance and Appeal. In recognition of his competence and integrity, he was appointed Director of Judicial Inspection in 2002. Throughout his career, His Excellency has held several prominent positions at both the local and federal levels. He served as Chairman of the Judicial Council of Ras Al Khaimah from November 2003 to May 2011, and as Chairman of the Lawyers’ Affairs Committee from September 2004 to March 2012. Additionally, he represented the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in the Federal National Council over the course of four legislative terms. Counselor Al Khateri holds a Master’s degree in Comparative Islamic Jurisprudence from the Higher Judicial Institute at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Sharia from the same institution. His Excellency’s career is marked by a steadfast commitment to justice, legal excellence, and the advancement of the judiciary within the United Arab Emirates.

His Excellency Chancellor/Aref Humaidan Al Zaabi assumes the position of Family Court President in Ras Al Khaimah Courts since 2020. He has over 28 years of judicial experience and started his career in the judiciary as prosecutor, then, he progressed through positions until he assumed the position of Ras Al Khaimah Appeal Prosecution Director. In 2008, he was appointed as a judge in personal status lawsuits and civil full jurisdiction circuit and Personal Status Appeal Committee Head in 2016, before being appointed as Family Court President in 2020, thus continuing his career distinguished by judicial and professional service. Chancellor/Aref Humaidan has extensive experience in government, judicial and administrative work, as he heads several committees, namely, Marriage Officers Committee, Marriage Offices Brockers Committee and Family Endowment Committee. He also supervises administratively Tolerance Center for Family Reform and Guidance and oversees several advanced technological programs at the level of Ras Al Khaimah Government, most notably: managing the electronic judicial notices program for government entities, 'Taresh' program for government correspondence and the electronic linkage project with the Central Bank, in addition to chairing the Permanent Committee for Electronic Linkage Among Government Authorities. As for his previous experience record, he chaired Deportation and Travel Ban Orders Committee and was a member of Legislative Committee in Ras Al Khaimah Emirate. Chancellor/Aref Al-Zaabi holds Bachelor of Islamic Jurisprudence Degree from Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in 1995 and Diploma in Judicial Studies from Training and Judicial Studies Institute in 1998.

His Excellency Chancellor/Mohammed Saeed bin Darwish Al Shamsi assumed the position of Court of First Instance President in Ras Al Khaimah Courts in September 2024. He has judicial and legal experience exceeding 25 years, during which he assumed several leadership positions in judiciary and gained extensive experience in various areas of judicial work. He has a remarkable professional record, having started his career as a prosecutor and progressed through the judicial ranks reaching the position of Attorney General in January 2015. During that period, he assumed several prominent positions, including Drugs Prosecution Head, Citizenship & Residency Prosecution Head, Traffic Prosecution Head and Appeal Prosecution Head in Public Prosecution Department in Ras Al Khaimah. In November 2015, he moved to the judicial field, where he was appointed as a judge in Court of First Instance and assumed considering civil and criminal lawsuits, then, he continued his judicial career until he was promoted to the position of Head of an appeal court in 2023 and in 2024, a resolution was promulgated appointing him as Court of First Instance President in Ras Al Khaimah Courts. He also has contributions to many legislative and legal committees at both local and federal levels. In addition, he is present in numerous specialized legal training courses and has supervised their training plans. Chancellor/Mohamed bin Darwish holds Bachelor of Islamic Sharia Degree from United Arab Emirates University in 1999 and he graduated with Diploma in Judicial Studies from Training and Judicial Studies Institute in 2002.
